Gas Prices

How much does gas cost where you are? Around Chambana/Illiana I've been seeing prices from $2.75 to $2.79 for the lowest grade. I ran across a blog of someone complaining that gas had gone over $2.00/gallon (this was in Feb. 2003). Now the forecast is $3.00/gallon by summer!

The last time I checked, I think it was $2.699 here. And someone said the price of oil per barrel just went up again. Yippee.

I just got gas today and it was $2.929 which is getting very close to $3. Last week it was $2.629.

It hasn't hit $3 here at all...I think it's been $2.89 or something..but I heard in Milwaukee it was $3 some time ago.

I was in St. Louis over the weekend and the low-fuel light was on. I went to one gas station that was closed and then had a hard time finding another one. When I did, I found out their power was off so they couldn't sell gas. When I finally found a third station, I started to fill up. I stopped after only one gallon when I realized it was $3.199/gallon!! Later I found some for $2.79/gallon.
